McClain's History

McClain, a premier logistics provider, is now headquartered in Maryland Heights in a combined office and warehouse facility equipped with dock doors and a rail line. This space enables McClain to expand its logistics offerings, including internal transloading, cross-docking, consolidation, storage, and more.

Purchased and moved into a 30,000 sq. ft. building, consolidating teams, expanding warehouse capabilities, and creating a modern headquarters designed for growth and collaboration.

McClain transitioned to a new TMS platform, creating a path for easier integrations, greater visibility through APIs, and faster implementation of solutions and services—delivering more value and efficiency to customers.

Dan McClain purchased the company from Mike and Kelly, becoming President and ushering in the next chapter of growth and innovation.

Operations moved to the Gundaker building on Dorsett Road, giving the team a modern, centralized workspace.

Partnered with CarrierStore to build a proprietary, cloud-based TMS on the Salesforce platform, enabling real-time collaboration between McClain and its customers.

McClain relocated operations to Earth City, unifying the team under one roof to improve communication and operational efficiency.
